Set in the gold-rich town of Iperindo, Wura follows the double life of Wura-Amoo Adeleke. To her family and the public, she is a saintly, devoted wife and mother, but as the CEO of Frontline Gold Mine, she is a ruthless leader who will commit any crime to protect her interests. The story begins when Wura murders a local miner to steal a massive gold discovery that could save her failing company, an act that sets her on a collision course with the impoverished Kuti family. Over three seasons, her carefully constructed world is threatened by internal family struggles, corporate enemies, and the eventual revelation of long-buried secrets, including the true identity of her own abandoned child.
