Questions
How does verification work?−
You confirm your identity with your NIN (National Identification Number), then show the profile is yours with a link or a document. A reviewer approves it and the page is yours to edit.
What evidence do I need?+
A link or a document. A social handle, a news article or your own site all count, and so does a work ID, a contract or a utility bill.
What if my claim is declined?+
You get the reason it was declined, and you can appeal with more evidence up to the deadline shown on the decision.
Who can see my profile once it is live?+
Productions and casting on Nollywood.com, not the general public.
What do I need before my profile goes live?+
A headshot, bio, discipline, three skills, physical attributes, one credit, your availability and a rate. Your profile can go live at 60% complete, and it shows you what is still missing.
What happens to credits already listed under my name?+
They stay as they are. The filmography is editorial, and talent do not edit it, which is why casting trusts it. Your profile draws on the same records, and you choose which credits appear first.
Can my agent manage my profile?+
Yes. An agent claims it as your representative and gets manager access. You can revoke that.
Who can see my rates and contact details?+
Rates and measurements stay off unless you turn them on, one field at a time. Location shows as region, not city. Your phone and email are never published, and self-tapes are never public.
