Koma: Beyond Awakening explores a gripping tale of survival and hidden powers, blending suspense and cultural themes in a Nollywood thriller.
Set within an isolated, mountain-dwelling indigenous community that preserves its ancient lifestyle away from modern civilization, the story follows a young tribesman whose deep affection and ambition to marry a beautiful village woman propel him to become a prominent community chief. While his life initially mirrors a perfect fairytale, a catastrophic incident forces him to violate a strict tribal taboo, triggering a powerful supernatural curse. This critical mistake spans a generational conflict, forcing three successive generations into an unyielding, high-stakes battle against the elements of destiny, hidden powers, and spiritual inheritance to secure their love, freedom, and ultimate survival.
